Small yet very accurate best describes our gun rests which were named to honor the legendary sharp shooter Annie Oakley.

Newspaper reports from the late 1800s say that she could throw a playing card in the air and hit it six times before it fell to the ground. At 90 feet, Annie could shoot a dime in midair. Her shooting skills were developed while living in western Ohio in the 1860s. She began hunting at the age of nine to help support her large family.

At the age of 16, she won her first major shooting contest. In 1885, she joined the Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show and was the shows star attraction for 17 years

By reaching her mid twenties, the petite woman was known
internationally as Little Sure Shot, the undisputed marksman of her time.

Reports confirm that she received her nicknamed "Little Sure Shot" by Chief Sitting Bull after he witnessed her shooting exhibition.

Her birth name was Phoebe Ann Oakley Mozee.
